 Invest in cooling vests, splash pools, shoes, and other heat relief products.

 Use Cooling Gear

Avoid strenuous play in peak heat. Shift activities to cooler parts of the day.

 Limit Exercise  

Check hot pavement, sand or asphalt with your hand before letting dogs walk on it.

Test Surfaces 

Ensure unlimited access to fresh water indoors and outdoors. Bring water on walks.

Frequently groom to remove shedding fur that can cause overheating.

 Apply sunscreen on snouts, ears and bellies if exposed to prevent sunburn.
