Make sure harness is appropriate size for your dog with room for adjustments.
Check Harness Fit
Unbuckle all neck, girth, and/or shoulder straps so harness lays flat.
Unclip All Straps
Have dog step through harness opening by guiding their head through first.
Dog Steps In
Pull harness up and align on dog's body. Attach girth strap first.
Pull Straps Up
Clip and adjust neck strap so it doesn't constrict neck when pulling.
Connect Neck Strap
For front-clip types, connect and adjust chest strap between front legs.
Attach Chest Strap
Make sure nothing restricts movement when walking, running or sitting.
