Keep Your Cat Safe on Winter Walks

Have your cat wear a heated vest or sweater to stay warm outdoors.

Bundle Up

Keep winter walks brief to prevent hypothermia and frostbite.

Limit Time Out

Prevent injurious slips by steering clear of icy areas. Salt paws after.

Avoid Ice

Make sure your cat always wears current ID tags just in case they escape.

ID and Microchip

Look for signs of irritation, cracks, or chemicals from deicer exposure.

Check Paws

Gently wipe paws with a damp cloth after walks to remove salt residue.

Brush Off Salt

Watch for shivering, limping, or signs of respiratory distress.
